#91: Holiday Spectacular & Paw & Order Finale!

December 21, 2021

Episode 91 of the Paw & Order episode doubles as our annual holiday special, as well as the bittersweet wrap up of the Paw & Order podcast, after four incredible years.

In this episode, Camille, Peter, and Jessica reflect on their time hosting the podcast and their favourite parts about hosting the show, and read some lovely messages from our dear listeners, who are saying their goodbyes and expressing how the show profoundly impacted them.

For the main topic, the hosts take part in their super fun annual 12 “gifts” giveaway to deserving people, groups and animals.

In the news, the hosts discuss Marineland receiving a criminal charge over its illegal whale and dolphin performances, Jessica’s op-ed in the Winnipeg Free Press regarding live horse exports, a BC chicken catching company and huge meat processor being fined $300K each for horrific animal abuse, and Canada’s zoo accreditation body finally prohibiting elephant rides.

The Zero of the episode is all of those who continue to exploit, harm and profit off of innocent animals, whom we will continue to expose and fight, long after the close of this podcast.

The Hero of the episode is our wonderful listeners for sticking with us over the past four years. We’re so incredibly grateful to have had your listenership and support!
