MONTREAL—On Saturday, Jan. 31, Quebecers will gather in Montreal to demand an end to fur farming in the province and to show support for a lawsuit brought by Animal Justice and The Fur-Bearers against the Quebec government.
During the highly visual demonstration, participants will “retire” fur coats and trims, symbolizing their rejection of fur and support for a provincial ban on fur farming. Every fur coat, every trim, every pelt represents a life taken.
