Animal Justice Canada is pleased to announce the release of a comprehensive report on the Ontario Society for the Prevention of the Cruelty to Animals Act.
‘OSPCA Act Report: A Better Way Forward’ is a review of Ontario’s primary piece of animal welfare legislation. Following an in-depth analysis of the OSPCA Act, Animal Justice provides recommendations for improvement that will afford all animals, including marine mammals, farm animals and shelter animals, greater protections against cruelty.
“We believe that this report will be an important tool in educating the public and informing positive improvements to animal protection legislation in the province. We are extremely grateful to the Law Foundation of Ontario for making this important project possible,” said Nicholas dePencier Wright, Executive Director of Animal Justice Canada.
