Toys Regulations, SOR/2011-17

The Toys Regulations apply to the import, advertisement, and sale of toys in Canada. In relation to animals, the regulations mandate animal testing with respect to toxicity levels in toy materials. Animal testing protocols are set out in schedule II.

The enabling statute for these Regulations is the Textile Labelling Act, RSC 1985, c T-10
