Motor Vehicle Act, RSBC 1996, c 318

The Motor Vehicle Act regulates the operation of motor vehicles, including licensing and registration requirements. In regard to animals, the Act profits the transportation of an animal on the runningboard, fender, hood or other exterior part of a motor vehicle unless a suitable cage, carrier or guard rail is provided and is attached adequately to protect that animal from falling or being thrown from the vehicle.
