SUMMARY:Tell Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre NOT to Kill Its Lab Dogs!
DESCRIPTION:📍 Wellness Way & Bayview Ave\, North York\, ON \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Learn More\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOntario has officially passed a historic law banning most invasive medical research on dogs and cats! Because labs can no longer conduct invasive medical research on dogs and cats once the law takes effect on January 1\, 2027\, they must give surviving animals a second chance at life. \n\n\n\nAnimal Justice is aware of at least six labs in Ontario that have recently experimented on dogs or cats. \n\n\n\nWe wrote to these labs\, urging them to have compassion and commit to rehoming any dogs and cats before the January 1 deadline\, and offered to help. Many refused to meet\, or to commit to a rehoming plan. \n\n\n\nNow\, animal advocates are taking action! We’re organizing protests across Ontario to demand that these labs rehome surviving dogs and cats instead of killing them. \n\n\n\nJoin us at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre to urge decision makers to commit to a rehoming plan. With multiple rescue groups already prepared to house dogs and cats from these labs\, there is no excuse for them not to do the right thing. \n\n\n\nThis landmark provincial ban was won after Animal Justice exposed secret dog cardiac experiments at St. Joseph’s Hospital in London\, Ontario. \n\n\n\nJoin us at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on October 31 to make sure every lab dog gets placed into a loving home! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Join Us\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBanner: Nucro-Technics’ Lab\, Last Chance for Animals
